Soundscape inspired by Tartessos, a semi-mythical place/harbour/river/civilisation from around 9th century BC in the modern area of Andalusia, Spain.
It is an adempt to connect with an ancient civilisation, see similarities and differences to the today. There is no lyrics but bare consonants and vocals – questioning language as it exists nowadays. Sounds of humans as well as sounds of water, skin and wind are forming an atmospheric, artistic statment of the hidden sounds of Tartessos.
Created at artist in residency Pinea - Linea de Costa in Rota and exhibition of the sound installation in november 2017.
